Taskbar Repair Tool Plus!

The Taskbar Repair Tool Plus! Utility allows you to Repair and Customize the Quick Launch, Taskbar and Notification Area among other things in Windows XP. We have tested it in newer versions of Windows such as Windows 7 and it seems to work with it as well. This tool comes in very handy if you are having problems with your taskbar that traditional methods can’t fix such as if your taskbar is missing altogether or if you have toolbars that are grayed out or missing.

It’s a fairly simple utility to use and once you get used to the interface you should have no problem fixing or customizing your taskbar to suit your needs. The Taskbar Repair Tool Plus! utility is a single executable file that you run so there is nothing you need to install on your computer to run it.

The tool is broken down into three categories; Taskbar Problems, Notification Area and Quick Launch Bar. Each category has a variety of tools to fix certain problems. When you click on a particular too from one of the 3 categories the options on the right will change according to what you have selected.

Some of the things you can do with this tool include:

  • Restore your taskbar if its missing
  • Restore missing or greyed out toolbars
  • Hide or show the Start button
  • Show missing icons
  • Disable balloon tips
  • Disable low disk space warning
  • Restore Show Desktop icon

You can download Taskbar Repair Tool Plus! For free here. It will come in a zip file so you will need to extract the TaskbarRepairToolPlus!.exe executable file before you will be able to run the utility. You can use something like WinZip or the built in Windows file extraction method to open and extract the file within the zip file.
